The petitioner is an accused in connection with Doranda PS Case No. 301/25. The petitioner and another accused were apprehended by the police and brown sugar and ganja were recovered from their possession. So far as the petitioner is concerned, 1.04 gram of brown sugar and 43.92 grams of ganja were recovered. Submission has been advanced by the learned counsel for the petitioner that the recovered quantity of narcotics is small quantity. It has further been submitted that the petitioner has got one criminal antecedent registered under sections 323 and 341 of the Indian Penal Code. Learned counsel adds that one of the co-accused has been granted bail in B.A. No. 1459 of 2026. It has also been submitted that the petitioner is in custody since 05.10.2025. Learned Spl.P.P. has opposed the prayer for bail of the petitioner. Regard being had to the aforesaid facts, the petitioner is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Judicial Commissioner cum Spl.
