On the prayer of the petitioner, leave is granted to implead the Director of Madrasah Education, West Bengal as added respondent No.11. 2. By the present writ petition, the petitioner seeks for setting aside of the letter dated 24th December, 2024 issued by the respondent No.4 allegedly demanding a sum of Rs.8,00,000/- from the petitioner (Annexure P/1). 3. The petitioner contends that he joined in Uttar Kalora Siddiquia Senior Madrasah in the year 2012 and has been discharging his function as a teacher in the said institution. However, due to continuous disturbance and intimidation from the side of the managing 2 committee he has not been allowed to discharge his functions. The institution has issued a letter to the petitioner on 23rd December, 2024 (delivered on 24th December, 2024) allegedly demanding a sum of Rs.8,00,000/- to be appointed as the Headmaster of the said institution. A complaint was lodged before the Directorate of Madrasah Education on 30th July, 2025 by the petitioner for redressal of his grievance. A notice was issued by the Joint Director of Madrasah Education, West Bengal on 11th September, 2025 calling for a hearing on 18th September, 2025 at 12.30 pm. The petitioner informs the Court that he has attended such hearing, however, no order has yet been passed. 4. Mr. Sahasrangsu Bhattacharjee, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the State submits that the matter be relegated to the Director of Madrasah Education to take a decision with regard to the hearing conducted on 18th September, 2025. 5. Mr. Nadeem Sulaiman, learned Advocate representing Madrasah Board as well as Mr. Masum Ali Sardar, learned Advocate appearing for the respondent Nos.5, 9 and 10 also concedes to the same. 6. In view of the above, the Director of Madrasah Education, West Bengal, added respondent No.11 is directed to pass reasoned order with regard to the hearing conducted on 18th September, 2025 within a period of six weeks from the date of communication of this order. In the event, respondent no.11 is of the opinion that further hearing is necessary, liberty is 3 granted to it to conduct hearing afresh upon the notice to the petitioner as well as all interested parties. 7. Parties shall also be liberty to produce all relevant documents at the time of fresh hearing. 8. A reasoned order shall be passed within a period of one week thereof. 9. Petitioner is directed to serve copy of the order to the added respondent No.11, for necessary compliance. 10. Accordingly, the writ petition being WPA 2627 of 2026 stands disposed of. 11. Since no affidavits have been called for, the allegation made in the writ petition is deemed to be not admitted. 12. Interim order, if any, stands vacated. 13. All connected applications, if any, stand disposed of. 14. There shall be no order as to costs. 15. All concerned parties shall act in terms of the copy of the order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court. 16.
