Mr. Gouranga Kumar Das, learned Additional Public Prosecutor along with Ms. Nayana Mukhopadhyay, learned advocate, appears on behalf of the State. Their appointment may be regularized by the concerned authorities. Petitioner has prayed for bail as for more than 3 years 4 months he is in custody. Learned Additional Public Prosecutor, on instructions from the investigating officer of the case, submits that the evidence of the witnesses have been completed, arguments have also been completed and the case is awaiting for delivery of judgment. Having considered the advanced stage of the case, I am not inclined to release the petitioner on bail. 2 Accordingly, CRM(M)2773 of 2025 is dismissed.
