The grievance projected by the petitioners in the present petition is that despite lapse of 10 years, charge sheet titled State Vs. Shabir Ahmad Khatana and Others wherein the petitioners’ figure as accused has not been decided. 2. Learned counsel for the petitioners has submitted that during this period of 10 years, only 3 witnesses have been examined out of 8 witnesses cited by the prosecution in support of its case. 3. Mr. Faheem Nisar, learned GA submits that the prosecution shall render all possible assistance to the court of learned Judicial Magistrate 1st Class, Sogam, Kupwara so as to ensure that the trial is concluded expeditiously. 4. In view of above, the petition is disposed of by requesting the learned Judicial Magistrate 1st Class, Sogam, Kupwara to expedite the trial of the case and not to grant any unnecessary adjournments to either of the parties. 5.
