2
3.
Learned counsel for the Petitioner would submit that the Petitioner has no nexus either with the De facto Complainant or Accused No.5. It is further submitted that the Petitioner did not participate in execution or registration of the alleged sale deeds. Learned counsel would further submit that the allegations made against the Petitioner are vague and omnibus.
4. Learned Assistant Public Prosecutor would submit that, it is not a fit case for grant of anticipatory bail since there are specific allegations made against the Petitioner to attract the alleged offences.
5. Considering the submissions made, this Court is of the view that the material placed on record indicates the involvement of the Petitioner in the transaction in question, which requires thorough investigation. At this stage, the contention that the allegations are vague and omnibus cannot be accepted. The nature and gravity of the offences alleged, coupled with the specific accusations levelled against the Petitioner, disentitle him for relief of anticipatory bail.
6. In the result, the Criminal Petition is dismissed.
As a sequel thereto, miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall stand closed.
