Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that petitioner is in custody for 4 years and 3 months and till date out of 33 witnesses, 15 witnesses have been examined. I have taken into account the accusations and the objection raised by the State. Having considered the period of detention of the present petitioner and the time which will be consumed to take the trial to its logical conclusion, I am inclined to release the petitioner on bail. Accordingly, prayer for bail of the petitioner is allowed. 2 Accordingly, Petitioner, namely, Rupchand Barman @ Anil Barman shall furnish bond of Rs. 20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand Only) with two sureties of Rs. 10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand Only) each, one of whom must be local to the satisfaction of Learned ACJM, Kalyani, Nadia. If on bail, the petitioner shall be physically present on each and every date fixed before the learned Trial Court and shall not leave the jurisdiction of District of Nadia without the prior permission of the learned Trial Court. Accordingly, CRM (M) 2870 of 2025 is allowed. Memo of Evidence submitted by the State be kept with the record. Mr. Rajendra Banerjee, Ld. APP and Mr. Utsav Dutta, learned advocate appears on behalf of the State. Their appearance be regularized by the concerned authorities.
