JUSTICE SURAJ GOVINDARAJ ORAL ORDER 1. Learned Additional Government Advocate accepts notice for the respondents. 2. The petitioners are before this Court seeking for the following reliefs: a. Issue writ in the nature of mandamus directing the respondent no.2 to consider the representation/complaint dtd.29/4/2026 as per Annexure -G and G1 and to give police protection to - 3 - HC-KAR NC: 2026:KHC:34256 WP No. 19473 of 2026 the petitioners land to cultivate the land, as per the orders passed by the Prl. Civil Judge and JMFC, Arasikere, in Execution No.24/2015, dtd. 17/1/2023, in respect of the schedule properties, under Annexure-B b. Issue such other order, direction, writ has may be deemed fit to grant in the circumstances of the case. 3. The grievance of the petitioners is that a decree having been passed in favour of the petitioners in the execution proceedings passed by the Prl. Civil Judge JMFC, Arasikere, vide order dated 17.01.2023 in Execution No.24/2015 had directed respondent No.2 to give police protection to decree holders to cultivate the same whenever required at the request of the decree holders. A request has been made by the petitioners; such police protection not having been made available by the respondents, the petitioners are before this Court seeking for the aforesaid reliefs. 4. The Execution Court having directed the jurisdictional Police to provide police protection, it is but required for the jurisdictional Police to comply with the orders passed by the Court. The same not having been complied with, this Court passes the following: ORDER i) Writ petition is allowed. - 4 - HC-KAR NC: 2026:KHC:34256 WP No. 19473 of 2026 ii) A mandamus is issued, respondent No.2 is directed to act on the request made by the petitioner in terms of the order dated 17.01.2023 in Execution No.24/2015 within a period of one week from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
