Despite the name of Mrs. Anuradha Sahay, learned A.P.P. appearing in the cause list, but none is present to represent the State. The prayer for bail of the petitioner was earlier rejected in B.A. No. 1019 of 2026. It has been submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner is in custody since 27.09.2025 and though charge has been framed on 24.06.2026, but not a single witness has been examined by the prosecution. It appears that the petitioner had enticed away the minor daughter of the informant and has forced his penis into the private part of the victim. The allegation has been supported by the victim in her 183 B.N.S.S. statement. Regard being had to the nature of allegations, I am not inclined to re-consider prayer for bail of the petitioner which stands rejected once again. This application stands rejected.
