Sharma, learned Standing Counsel, BTC, appearing for respondent Nos. 1 & 3, by placing on record a copy of the communication dated 26.02.2026 issued by the Director of Education, Bodoland Territorial Council, Kokrajhar, submits that the authorities have decided to regularize the service of the petitioner at par with other similarly situated teachers, subject to availability of a vacant post and accordingly, a request has been made to the District Elementary Education Officer, Baksa, to submit a proposal in the prescribed format for regularization of the petitioner as an Assistant Teacher in any available vacant post. Considering above, I am of the view that the order of this Court dated 08.01.2024 passed in WP(C) No. 6618/2021 has been complied with. Page No.# 3/3 Accordingly, the contempt petition stands closed.
