Mr. Pritam Choudhury, learned Advocate representing the alleged contemnor submits that the alleged contemnor namely, the Pradhan, Amarda Gram Panchayat, Anchal No.2, District Jhargram has passed order in compliance to order passed by this Hon’ble Court on 16th May, 2025 in WPA 6502 of 2025. The order has already been forwarded to the Sub-Divisional Officer, Jhargram for taking further steps in accordance with Section 23(5) of the West Bengal Panchayat Act, 1973.

5. In view of the above, the contempt application being WPCRC 54 of 2026 stands disposed of and rule is discharged.
