3. The learned counsel for the complainant does not dispute the fact that a compromise has been arrived at between the parties and states that the complainant has no objection in case the petitioner is granted the concession of bail. 4. The counsel for the State, on the other hand, contends that the allegations levelled against the petitioner are grave and therefore, he is not entitled to the concession of bail particularly, when the investigation is still pending. Therefore, the present petition is liable to be dismissed. 5. I have heard the learned counsel for the parties. 6. Admittedly, a compromise has been arrived at between the parties. The petitioner is in custody since 12.05.2026 but the investigation has not been culminated yet. Therefore, the Trial in the present case is not likely to be concluded anytime soon. In this situation, the further incarceration of the petitioner is not required. 7.
Thus without commenting on the merits of the case, the present petition is allowed and the petitioner-Sukhwant Singh @ Laddi is ordered to be released on bail subject to his furnishing bail bonds and surety bonds to the satisfaction of learned CJM/Duty Magistrate, concerned. 8. The petition stands disposed of.
