The petitioner is an accused in connection with Littipara (Simlong) P.S. Case No.14 of 2025. The petitioner is alleged to have murdered his wife. Although it has been submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that there is no eye-witness to the incident and the petitioner is in custody since 21.02.2025, but it appears that it was the petitioner who had taken the deceased to the weekly market after which the murder was committed and no explanation has been given by the petitioner with respect to the said incident.
