JUSTICE LALITHA KANNEGANTI ORAL ORDER The present writ petition is filed questioning the show cause notice dated 15.06.2026 issued by the respondents. 2. Learned counsel appearing for the petitioners submits that the respondents have issued the show cause notice directing the petitioners to furnish the documents pertaining to the NOC issued by the BBMP, it is taking some time to collect the documents. However, in the meantime, the respondents are trying to disconnect the power supply. 3. Learned counsel appearing for the respondents submits that in spite of issuance of show cause notice in the - 4 - HC-KAR NC: 2026:KHC:34732 WP No. 19504 of 2026 month of June 2026, so far the petitioners have not submitted their explanation. It is further submitted that the respondents will not disconnect the power supply without following the due process of law and without passing appropriate orders. 4. Having heard the learned counsel on either side, perused the material on record, this Court finds that the respondents have issued only a show cause notice. The petitioners are under an obligation to submit a reply to the same. But in this case, the petitioners have not given such reply. 5. Hence, this Court is balancing the interests of both the parties, this Court is passing the following: ORDER i. Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of, directing the petitioners to submit their reply to the show cause notice dated 15.06.2026, within a period of one week from today. ii. Upon receipt of the petitioners' reply, the respondents shall consider the same and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law. - 5 - HC-KAR NC: 2026:KHC:34732 WP No. 19504 of 2026 iii. Once the order is passed, the respondents shall not give effect to the said order for a period of one week, so that facilitating the petitioners to avail appropriate legal remedies. iv.
