Re: CRR 2623 of 2026 In this application, the petitioner has assailed the order dated 18.6.2026 by which the court below had issued warrant of arrest against the petitioner. Being aggrieved by the aforesaid order, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the court below had failed to consider that the petitioner is a person of well repute and on 18.6.2026, due to unsecured regular leave from his workplace, he was unable to appear before the court below and the court below had mechanically issued warrant of arrest against the petitioner ignoring his application under Section 205 of the Code of Criminal Procedure. However, learned counsel for the petitioner on instruction submits that the petitioner is willing to surrender before the court below and as such, a leave may be granted in his favour. 2 Having heard learned counsel for the petitioner, the instant application being CRR 2623 of 2026 is hereby disposed of by giving liberty to the petitioner to surrender before the court below on 24th July, 2026 and in the event of such surrender, the court below will dispose of his prayer in accordance with law. The impugned order dated 18.6.2026 by which the court below issued warrant of arrest, shall remain stayed till 24th July, 2026.
