JUSTICE SURAJ GOVINDARAJ ORAL ORDER 1. Learned Additional Government Advocate accepts notice for the respondents. 2. The petitioner is before this Court seeking for the following reliefs: a. To issue writ of mandamus, directing the respondent no. 4 to register the FIR in pursuance of the complaint submitted by the petitioner on 08.07.2025 at Annexure-A and A1 23.07.2025 and 25.07.2025, acknowledgment dated 24.07.2025 at Annexure-P thereafter, investigate the matter in accordance with law. b. To direct the Superintendent of Police - respondent no. 2 to inquire into the matter and take suitable - 3 - HC-KAR NC: 2026:KHC:34264 WP No. 17166 of 2026 action against respondents no. 2 to 4 for violation of the direction issued by the Apex court and Hon'ble High Court of Karnataka with litigation expenses to the petitioner. c. Grant such other relief as this Hon'ble Court deems fit to grant in the circumstances of the case in the interest of justice and equity. 3. The grievance of the petitioner is that the complaint filed by the petitioner is not registered by respondent No.3 and it is in that background that the aforesaid relief has been sought for. 4. A perusal of the papers indicates that the offences alleged are non-cognizable offences. That being so, it would always be available for the petitioner to approach the higher officer namely the Superintendent of Police, and if the Superintendent of Police were also not to take any action, the petitioner would always have the liberty to file a private complaint. 5.
