...Appellants Vs. The Reserve Bank of India and others ...Respondents ********** Advocate for Appellants: Mr. Patanjali Pamidighantam Advocates for Respondents: Mr. S. Satyanarayana Moorthy, Mrs. V. Dyumani
CORAM : THE CHIEF JUSTICE DHIRAJ SINGH THAKUR SRI JUSTICE CHALLA GUNARANJAN DATE : 6th January, 2026.
P C :
The present Writ Appeals have been preferred against the common
judgment and order dated 09.12.2025, passed in W.P.Nos.21975 and 21976 of 2024, whereby the interim orders earlier granted in favour of the petitioners- appellants herein were vacated, purportedly on the inability of the counsel for the petitioners to argue the matter.
2.
Learned counsel for the appellants, however, submits that the interim
order dated 01.10.2024, has remained in force for almost a year and that in case the same status was maintained as was otherwise maintained during the
2 HCJ & CGRJ WA_1327 & 1328_2025
currency of the interim order, the appellants would be prepared to argue the matter finally.
3. We have heard learned counsel for the appellants.
4. In our opinion, it would be appropriate for the appellants to approach the learned Single Judge for consideration of the matter on merits, at an early date, and also to seek interim directions, if so advised.
5. The appeals are accordingly disposed of.
No costs.
Pending miscellaneous applications, if any, in this case, shall stand closed.
