P.P. …...... 05/ 30.03.2026: This bail application has been filed under Sections 483 & 484 of BNSS, 2023 wherein, prayer has been made for grant of bail as he is in custody for allegedly committing offence punishable under Sections 302 and 201 of IPC. 2. Heard, learned counsel for the petitioner, learned counsel for the State and have also gone through the impugned order. 3. Learned AddI. P.P. opposes the prayer for bail. 4. This is a case of murder. There is direct allegation against this petitioner. 5. It is alleged that petitioner assaulted the informant’s sister with chappar, resulting in her death. 6. After going through the records, I find that there is direct allegation against this petitioner. Further, I find that out of 14 witnesses, 12 witnesses have already been examined in this case. 7. Considering that the trial is at its fag end and there is direct allegation against this petitioner, I am not inclined to grant privilege of bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, the prayer for bail of the petitioner in connection with Simdega, T. Tangar P.S. Case No.15 of 2024, Corresponding to S.T. Case No.68 of 2024, pending in the Court of learned Sessions Judge, Simdega, stands rejected. 8. Accordingly, this bail application is dismissed. 9.
