Mr. Ankit Sureka, learned Advocate representing the alleged contemnor submits that in compliance to order passed by this Hon’ble Court on 4th August, 2025 in WPA 22310 of 2023 the alleged contemnor namely, Pradhan, Patulia Gram Panchayat, North 24-Parganas has passed order and such order has already been forwarded to the Sub-Divisional Officer, Barrackpore for taking appropriate steps in accordance with Section 23 of the West Bengal Panchayat Act, 1973. 4. Mr. Koushik Roy, learned Advocate appearing on behalf of the petitioner concedes to the same. 2 5. In view of the above, the contempt application being WPCRC 58 of 2026 stands disposed of and rule is discharged. 6. Personal appearance of the alleged contemnor is dispensed with.
