JUSTICE LALITHA KANNEGANTI ORAL ORDER The present writ petition is filed questioning the show cause notice dated 15.06.2026 issued by the respondents. 2. Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the respondents have issued the show cause notice directing the petitioner to furnish the documents pertaining to the NOC issued by the BBMP, it is taking some time to collect the documents. However, in the meantime, the respondents are trying to disconnect the power supply. 3. Learned counsel appearing for the respondents submits that in spite of issuance of show cause notice in the month of June 2026, so far the petitioner has not submitted his - 3 - HC-KAR NC: 2026:KHC:34736 WP No. 19435 of 2026 explanation. It is further submitted that the respondents will not disconnect the power supply without following the due process of law and without passing appropriate orders. 4. Having heard the learned counsel on either side, perused the material on record, this Court finds that the respondents have issued only a show cause notice. The petitioner is under an obligation to submit a reply to the same. But in this case, the petitioner has not given such reply. 5. Hence, this Court in balancing the interests of both the parties, passing the following: ORDER i. Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of, directing the petitioner to submit reply to the show cause notice dated 15.06.2026, within a period of one week from today. ii. Upon receipt of the petitioner's reply, the respondents shall consider the same and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law. iii. Once the order is passed, the respondents shall not give effect to the said order for a - 4 - HC-KAR NC: 2026:KHC:34736 WP No. 19435 of 2026 period of one week, so as to facilitate the petitioner to avail appropriate legal remedies. iv.
