Venkath Subba Rao, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, and Sri. In this writ petition, the petitioner has assailed the Endorsements dated 20.06.2024 (Annexures-A, B and C) issued by respondent No.3 – the Assistant Director of Land Records, in respect of the land in question. 3. Having heard the learned counsel appearing for the parties and upon careful consideration of the material placed on record, it is evident that a judgment and decree have been passed in FDP No.92/2011 on the file of the XXXV Additional City Civil and Sessions Judge, Bengaluru City. The records further disclose that a Court Commissioner was appointed to demarcate the property in question and that the Commissioner has submitted a report along with the sketch, which is produced as Annexure-D. 4. In view of the above, this Court is of the opinion that, once the competent Civil Court has - 4 - HC-KAR NC: 2026:KHC:34866 WP No. 9486 of 2025 already adjudicated the matter and accepted the demarcation of the property based on the report and sketch submitted by the Court Commissioner, respondent No.3 ought not to have insisted upon the petitioner furnishing a 11E sketch. 5. Accordingly, the Endorsements dated 20.06.2024 (Annexures-A, B and C) issued by respondent No.3 are quashed. 6. The petitioner is permitted to submit a fresh application to respondent No.3 along with a copy of the judgment and decree dated 13.03.2019 passed in FDP No.92/2011 on the file of the XXXV Additional City Civil and Sessions Judge, Bengaluru City, together with the sketch prepared by the Court Commissioner and filed in the said proceedings. 7. If such an application, along with the relevant documents and sketch, is submitted by the - 5 - HC-KAR NC: 2026:KHC:34866 WP No. 9486 of 2025 petitioner, respondent No.3 shall consider the same and pass appropriate orders, in accordance with law, within an outer limit of two months from the date of receipt of a certified copy of this order, insofar as the land belonging to the petitioner is concerned.
