INDIRESH ORAL ORDER In this petition, the petitioner is challenging the order dated 10th March, 2025 (Annexure-A) passed by the respondent No.2 in Case No.R.A(BN):489/2022; inter alia sought for a direction to the respondent No.3 to rectify the mistake in the revenue records in respect of the subject land in terms of the Partition Deed dated 10th April, 1978 (Annexure-C). 2. Heard Sri. K.G. Sadashivaiah, learned counsel appearing for petitioners and Smt. B.P. Radha, learned Additional Government Advocate appearing for respondents 1 to 3. 3. Smt. B.P. Radha, learned Additional Government Advocate appearing for respondents 1 to 3 submits that the petitioners are having an efficacious remedy under Section 136(3) of the Karnataka Land Revenue Act. 4. Having heard the learned counsel appearing for the parties and on perusal of the impugned order, it is forthcoming - 4 - HC-KAR NC: 2026:KHC:33929 WP NO.19525 OF 2025 that the petitioners herein are challenging the order passed by the respondent No.2 under Section 136(2) of the Karnataka Land Revenue Act. In that view of the matter, I am of the view that the present petition is not maintainable. Accordingly, reserving liberty to the petitioners to approach the competent authority under Section 136(3) of the Karnataka Land Revenue Act, writ petition is dismissed as not maintainable.
