Karamkar, learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Spl.P.P. The petitioner is an accused in connection with Birsa Nagar P.S. Case No. 41 of 2020. It has been alleged that the informant had deposited an amount of Rs. 3,01,488/- in Rose Valley Company on the assurance of higher returns. However, the company closed down and the informant was duped of his hard-earned money. Submission has been advanced by the learned counsel for the petitioner that the main allegation is leveled against Tapas Pal. It has been submitted that the petitioner has been implicated primarily on account of the fact that he was the Managing Director of Rose Valley Company though he was not connected with the day to day affairs of the company. Learned counsel submits that general allegations have been leveled against the petitioner and though the petitioner is in custody in this particular case from 03.01.2025, but overall, the petitioner has remained in custody for about eight years. In several of the cases instituted against the petitioner, he has been granted bail by various courts. Learned Spl.P.P. has opposed the prayer for bail of the petitioner. 2026:JHHC:8849 Regard being had to the aforesaid facts, he is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (Ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Judicial Magistrate, 1st Class, Jamshedpur in connection with Birsa Nagar P.S.
