Syiem, learned counsel appearing for the respondents. 2026:MLHC:437 In terms of the order dated 10.04.2026, the learned AAG has obtained instruction and has submitted that apart from the Special Educator, whose service was objected to by the petitioner herein, another Special Educator by the name of Smti. Allana Passah is also available for rendering assistance in recording evidence of the survivor in Special POCSO Case No.04 of 2023 pending before the Court of the Special Judge (POCSO) Jowai. In view of the submission made by the learned AAG, the grievance raised by the petitioner in this petition with regard to the impugned order dated 17.03.2026 can be taken care of by directing the learned Special Judge (POCSO), Jowai to avail the service of Smti. Allana Passah, Special Educator, for the purpose of cross examination of the victim/survivor in Special POCSO Case No.04 of 2023. The learned Special Judge shall fix a date for the cross- examination of the victim/survivor by the petitioner and ensure that the abovenamed Special Educator is present before the Court on that day. It is also made clear that none of the parties shall seek adjournment on the date so fixed by the learned Special Judge. Resultantly, the impugned order dated 17.03.2026 passed in Special POCSO Case No.04 of 2023 stands interfered with to the aforesaid extent. The criminal revision petition stands disposed of. Interim order, if any, passed earlier in the present criminal petition shall stand vacated.
