The petitioner has been made accused in connection with Namkum P.S. Case No.202 of 2026 registered for the offences punishable under Section 111(2)(b), 111(3), 111(4) of B.N.S., 2023, Section 11(1)(d)(e) of Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Act, 1960 and Section 12(1), 12(2), 12(3) of Jharkhand Bovine Animal Prohibition of Slaughter Act, 2005. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the allegation against the petitioner is that the petitioner is the owner of a vehicle bearing registration No. JH01FP 7181 which was seized by police while being involved in transportation of bovine animals for their illegal slaughter. It is submitted that the allegation against the petitioner is false. It is next submitted that the petitioner had no knowledge about his vehicle being involved in any illegal activity. It is further submitted that the co-accused, with similar allegations, has already been admitted to bail by this Court vide order dated 15.09.2026 passed in B.A. No.8593 of 2026. It is then submitted that the petitioner undertakes that he will co-operate with the trial of the case and that he will not annoy or disturb the witnesses of the case in any manner during the trial of the case. It is lastly submitted that the petitioner has been in custody since 01.08.2026 as has been mentioned in para-01 of the instant bail application. Hence it is submitted that the petitioner be released on bail. Learned Addl. P.P. opposes the prayer for bail. Considering the facts of this case, the above-named petitioner is directed to be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.25,000/- (Rupees twenty five thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Judicial Magistrate, Ranchi in connection with Namkum P.S. Case No.202 of 2026 with the condition that he will co-operate with the trial of the case, furnish his mobile number and photocopy of the Aadhar Card in the court below with an undertaking that he will not change his mobile number during the trial of the case and will not annoy or disturb the witnesses of the case in any manner during the trial of the case.
