This writ petition is filed seeking a direction to the Court of Senior Civil Judge and JMFC, Virajpet, (hereinafter referred to as the ‘Family Court’) to dispose of M.C.No.88/2022, which is pending on its file time bound. 3. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is the wife of the respondent. The respondent filed M.C.No.88/2022 seeking for dissolution of marriage. The Family Court has set down for hearing on - 3 - HC-KAR NC: 2026:KHC:19251 WP No. 8654 of 2026 I.A.No.VI and VII filed by the petitioner herein. It is submitted that the petitioner is currently 36 years old and the delay in disposal of the matter will cause an irretrievable loss on her prospects of married life and motherhood within a safe biological timeframe. It is further submitted that the petitioner herein is presently working as a Second Division Assistant (SDA) in the Judicial Department and posted at the same court complex, where the present case is going on and the prolonged delay in trial is causing uneasiness and emotional stress to the petitioner. 4. Record discloses justification in the submission that is made by learned counsel for the petitioner. Therefore, this Court considers desirable to dispose of the writ petition and give directions. Hence, the following: ORDER (i) Writ petition is disposed of. - 4 - HC-KAR NC: 2026:KHC:19251 WP No. 8654 of 2026 (ii) The Court of Senior Civil Judge and JMFC, Virajpet is directed to take all steps for disposal of M.C.No.88/2022 time bound preferably as expeditiously as possible. (iii) This Court is not issuing the notice to the respondent as no adverse orders are passed and disposed of the petition is in the interest of both the parties. (iv) As the writ petition is disposed of without notice to respondent, Family Court is directed to serve copy of this order to respondent so as to give notice to respondent, about filing of this petition and its disposal.
