Through this petition, the petitioners seek issuance of directions to the State to conduct videography of the entire process of election of President and other office bearers of the Municipal Council, Faridkot, which elections are scheduled to be conducted tomorrow. 2. At the outset, learned State counsel submits that the entire process of election of President and other office bearers out of the new elected members of Municipal Council, Faridkot shall be videographed, which videography shall include the process of voting by raising hands; the CCTV/videographed material shall be preserved under the care and custody of Deputy Commissioner, Faridkot for a period of three months and that adequate security, if needed, shall be made available outside the venue where the afore elections are going to take place. 3. The afore statement made by the learned State counsel satisfies learned counsel for the petitioners. 4. Disposed of.
