The instant petition has been filed under Section 483 of BNSS, 2023 (earlier Section 439 Cr.P.C.), seeking grant of regular bail in case FIR No.0265 dated 20.12.2025, under Section(s) 21(b), 27-A and 29 of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substance Act, 1985 (wherein Section 29 of the NDPS Act, 1985 added later on), registered at Police Station Chheharta, District Amritsar. In the present case, 204 grams of heroin has been recovered from the possession of the petitioner. Petitioner is also involved in four other cases registered under the provisions of NDPS Act. Considering the nature and gravity of the allegations, no ground for the grant of bail is made out at this stage. In view of the foregoing, the present petition is dismissed.
