By way of this petition, the petitioner seeks the following reliefs : i To kindly be pleased to direct the Respondents may be directed to accept the application of Petitioner for electricity connection, for the property in question i.e., "the residential property bearing Khasra No. 507/5 and 593/1, admeasuring 2400 sq.ft., situated at Mandir Hasaud, PC No. 73/16, RIC Mandir Hasaud, Raipur"; ii. To kindly be pleased to direct the respondents to accordingly grant connection for the supply of electricity, without insisting upon condition of registration of sale certificate dated 23.03.2026, at the earliest; iii Grant any other relief or pass such other order(s) as this Hon'ble Court may deem fit and proper in the interest of justice. 2. At the outset, learned counsel appearing for respondents 1 & 2, on instructions, submits a proceeding concerning the subject property is presently pending before the DRT, Jabalpur. 3 Meanwhile, the petitioner has purchased the subject property in an auction sale. She submits that any order passed by the DRT would be binding upon the parties, including the petitioner. However, on instructions, she submits that if the petitioner files an appropriate application concerning the electricity connection before the concerned authority, the same shall be decided subject to fulfillment of the conditions so imposed by the Electricity Department. 3. Considering the aforesaid aspects of the matter, this Court deems it appropriate to dispose of this petition granting liberty to the petitioner to file a requisite application before the concerned authority. In turn, the concerned authority is directed to consider and decide the said application of the petitioner, subject to imposition of necessary conditions. It is directed that the petitioner shall comply with the conditions so imposed by the concerned authority. Ordered accordingly. 4.
