S/L.1 July 8, 2026. MNS. FMAT No. 234 of 2026 + CAN 1 of 2026 Chinmoy Roy Chowdhury Vs. Bidhannagar Municipal Corporation Mr. Anindya Lahiri, Sr. Adv., Ms. Pranati Das, Mr. Subhomoy Paul, Mr. Anish Chakraborty, Advs. … for the appellant. 1. Learned senior counsel for the appellant rightly submits that this Court does not have pecuniary jurisdiction to take up the appeal. 2. Accordingly, on the prayer of the appellant, the appeal is dismissed as not maintainable due to lack of pecuniary jurisdiction. 3. Consequentially, CAN 1 of 2026 is also dismissed. 4. There will be no order as to costs. 5. The appellant will be at liberty to prefer an appeal against the impugned order on the selfsame grounds as taken in the present appeal before the appropriate Court having jurisdiction.
