Learned advocate appearing for the petitioners submits that the petitioners have been detained behind the bar for more than 7 months and the alleged recovery in the present case is 164 kgs. of ganja. Learned advocate for the State opposes the prayer for bail. Having considered the quantum of seizure, I am of the opinion that the rigors of Section 37 of the NDPS Act is attracted. As such, at this stage, the prayer for bail of the petitioners in CRM(NDPS)1420 of 2026 is dismissed.
