Dutta Mr. Samsul Laskar … for the defacto-complainant(s) Learned advocate for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is in custody for two years eight months and the prosecution has relied upon 16 witnesses in order to prove its case but till date the evidence of one witness i.e., the victim is over. Learned advocate for the private opposite party/defacto-complainant opposes the prayer for bail and submits that it is the present petitioner who is involved in a racket of human trafficking by engaging the minor victims in the trade. 2 Mr. Gouranga Kumar Das, ld. APP, appears for the State along with a junior of his choice as per the direction of this Court. The appearance of both Mr. Das and the junior of his choice, if any, be regularized by the concerned authority. Learned advocate for the State has produced the case diary and the deposition of the victim has also been placed. On an assessment of the same, I am of the opinion that the complicity of the present petitioner has been emphasized in the evidence. Having considered the same, I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail at this stage. Hence, the prayer for bail of the petitioner is Rejected.
