Neutral Citation 2026:JHHC:28903 IN THE HIGH COURT OF JHARKHAND AT RANCHI B.A. No. 7056 of 2026 Md. Golu Bhat @ Golu Bhat --- --- Petitioner Versus The State of Jharkhand --- --- Opposite Party --- CORAM: HON’BLE MR. JUSTICE RONGON MUKHOPADHYAY --- For the Petitioner : Mr. Mohit Prakash, Adv. For the O.P. : A.P.P. --- 02/25.09.2026 Heard Mr. Mohit Prakash, learned counsel for the petitioner and learned A.P.P. The prayer of bail of the petitioner was earlier rejected in B.A. No. 773 of 2026. It has been alleged that the petitioner and another accused had committed an assault on the son of the informant and he had sustained 07 stab injuries on account of such assault. Submission has been advanced by the learned counsel for the petitioner that the victim has been examined as P.W.3 and he has not named the petitioner as one of the assailants. Learned counsel submits that the petitioner is in custody since 11.06.2025. Learned A.P.P. has opposed the prayer for bail of the petitioner. Regard being had to the evidence of P.W.3 which seems to have diluted the case of the petitioner so far as the petitioner is concerned, he is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (Ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Additional Sessions Judge-V, Gumla in connection with Gumla P.S. Case No. 179/2025, subject to the condition that he shall remain physically present before the learned trial court on each and every date till the conclusion of trial unless prevented by sufficient cause. This application stands allowed. (Rongon Mukhopadhyay, J.) Dated- 25th September, 2026. Preet/- Uploaded on: 28 /09/2026.
