SINGH ORAL ORDER 4 15-07-2026 Heard learned counsel for the petitioners and learned APP for the State. 2. In the present case, the petitioners are apprehending their arrest in connection with Belaganj P.S. Case No 659 of 2025, dated 15.11.2025, registered for offences punishable under Sections 191(2), 191(3), 126 (2), 115(2), 125, 74, 75, 352, 351(2) and 61(2) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita and Section 27 of the Arms Act. 3. As per the prosecution case, it is alleged that , the informant and other women were returning when some persons near Faridpur Mosque allegedly raised anti-national and other objectionable slogans which the other side Patna High Court CR. Upon being confronted, the accused persons allegedly abused them using caste-specific slurs, surrounded the informant side and attempted to outrage their modesty. When villagers intervened, the accused persons allegedly took shelter inside the mosque, pelted stones, gunshots were allegedly heard from the mosque side. 4. Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that petitioners are innocent and have falsely been implicated in this case in the background of village politics. It is further submitted that altercation took place between the parties in which both sides sustained injuries. There is case and counter case between the parties It is further submitted that similarly situated several co-accused persons have been granted bail vide order dated 30.04.2026, passed in Cr. Misc. No. 28681 of 2026 by Coordinate Bench of this Court. 5. Learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing on behalf of the State has vehemently opposed the prayer for bail of the petitioner. 6. Keeping in view the aforesaid facts and considering the clean antecedent of the petitioner, let the Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.27243 of 2026(4) dt.15-07-2026 3/3 petitioner, above named, be released on anticipatory bail in the event of arrest or surrender within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of this order, on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Gaya Ji in connection with Belaganj P.
