Learned advocate for the petitioner submits that petitioner is in custody for a period of 940 days since November 2023. Prosecution has relied upon 22 witnesses. Some more witnesses are left. As such, there is no possibility of the trial being concluded, so the petitioner be released on bail on any stringent conditions. Learned advocate for the State opposes the prayer for bail and submits that 15 witnesses have already been examined by the prosecution and some more witnesses are left to be examined. 2 Learned advocate for the defacto complainant opposes the prayer for bail. Having considered the totality of the circumstances, as a matter of last chance, 6 more months time is granted to the prosecution to conclude all the witnesses. Petitioner would renew his prayer for bail after the aforesaid time period is over. At this stage, the prayer for bail of the petitioner in CRM (M) 2805 of 2025 is rejected. All parties shall act in terms of server copy of the order downloaded from the official website of this Court.
