It is submitted by the petitioner that he was physically assaulted by respondent no. 4 concerning an incident of removal of tree branches which were stacked at the land of the petitioner. Complaint was lodged on 9th June, 2026 based on which an enquiry was conducted by the police authorities and Debra Police Station Non Cognizable Report No. 318 of 2026 dated 12th June, 2026 under Section 126 of BNSS 2023 was submitted. 3. Communication dated 7th July, 2026 of Officer-in- Charge, Debra Police Station is placed before this Court and same is taken on record. Copy of the communication dated 7th July, 2026 is made over to the learned advocate representing petitioner. 2 4. In view of steps taken by the concerned police authorities no further order need be passed on this writ petition except a direction upon the police authorities to maintain peace and tranquility at the locale and to see no untoward incident takes place. 5.
