CORAM:
HON’BLE MR. JUSTICE SANJAY DHAR, JUDGE
O R D E R 29-08-2026
Statement of Facts/Compliance Report stands filed by the respondents. Along with the Statement of Facts/Compliance Report, the respondents have placed on record a copy of Consideration Order dated 21.8.2025, whereby respondents have rejected the claim of the petitioner by stating that pensionable service starts from the date of confirmation and that temporary service is not to be counted for calculating the pension under rules.
As per the order of the writ court, the respondents were directed to consider the representation of the petitioner for treating his service in SBI from the date of his initial engagement strictly in accordance with the rules.
Since the respondents have considered the representation of the petitioner, whereafter they have passed a detailed Consideration Order, the
order of the writ court stands complied with. Accordingly, the contempt proceedings are closed, leaving it open to the petitioner to challenge the
Consideration Order by way of appropriate proceedings.
