According to the prosecution story, complainant Ajay Kumar Gupta, who was running a Customer Service Centre near Central Bank of India, Pathalgaon, alleged that present Applicant requested him to provide his overdraft account details for receiving money from outside due to some urgent requirement. Accordingly, amounts of Rs.1,00,000/- on 07.03.2024, Rs.50,000/- on 13.03.2024 and Rs.50,000/- on 14.03.2024 were allegedly received in the complainant’s account, which were withdrawn and handed over to the Applicant. Subsequently, the complainant’s account was put on hold with an amount of Rs.43,978/- and despite assurance, the Applicant failed to get the hold removed. On the basis of the complaint, offence was registered against the Applicant. During investigation, it was allegedly found that the accused had misused bank accounts of the complainant, witnesses and other persons and carried out suspicious transactions to obtain unlawful gain, pursuant to which Sections 411 and 413 IPC were added. It was further revealed that the accused was having accounts in multiple banks and transactions were made from various States, for which no satisfactory explanation was furnished. Based on 3 the aforesaid allegations, the police registered the offences as mentioned above against the present Applicant. Hence, this application. 3. Learned Counsel for the Applicant submits that the Applicant is innocent and has been falsely implicated in the present case. It is contended that the alleged amount of Rs.43,978/- has already been returned to the complainant through the Applicant’s relative and the complainant has also filed an affidavit stating compromise of the matter. He further submits that the Applicant is in custody since 10.04.2026 and the trial is likely to take considerable time for its conclusion, therefore, he may be enlarged on regular bail. 4. On the other hand, learned State Counsel opposes the bail application and submits that during investigation, it was found that suspicious transactions were carried out through the bank accounts linked with the Applicant, involving amounts received from six other States, therefore, he is not entitled to be released on bail. 5. Considering the submissions advanced by learned Counsel for the parties, the nature of allegations, the material available in the case diary, the fact that during investigation it was found that suspicious transactions were carried out through the bank accounts linked with the Applicant involving amounts 4 received from six other States, the manner in which the alleged offence has been committed and the material collected during investigation, this Court is of the considered opinion that the Applicant is not entitled for grant of bail. 6. Accordingly, the bail application of the Applicant – Vijay Kujur involved in Crime No.236/2025 registered at Police Station – Patthalgaon District Jashpur (C.G.), for the offence under Sections 420, 411 and 413 IPC is hereby rejected. 7.
