This is the first bail application filed under Section 483 of the Bhartiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 for grant of regular bail to the applicant who has been arrested in connection with Crime No. 275/2026 registered at Police Station- Civil Line Rampur, District Korba (C.G.), for the offence punishable under Sections 296, 115(2), 351(3), 324(2), 109(1), 191(3) and 333 of BNS. 2. Learned State counsel submits that the anticipatory bail application KUNAL DEWANGAN Digitally signed by KUNAL DEWANGAN 2 of a similarly situated co-accused has already been rejected by this Court in MCRCA No. 779/2026 vide order dated 06.07.2026. 3. From perusal of the record reveals that the present bail application suffers from certain defects as pointed out by the Registry. Despite the defects having been notified, no steps have been taken by the applicant to remove the same till date. 4. In view of the aforesaid, the present bail application is dismissed solely on the ground of not curing the defects as pointed out by the Registry, with liberty to the applicant to file a fresh bail application, if so advised, after curing the said defects as per rules. 5. The Registry is directed to return the certified copy of the impugned order, if filed along with the present bail application, to the learned counsel for the applicant after retaining a photocopy thereof on the record.
