The petitioners are before this Court seeking for the following reliefs; a) Issue Writ of Mandamus directing the Respondents to refrain from interfering with the Petitioners' peaceful possession of their respective sites (Site Nos. 207, 208, 209, 226, 224, 225, 223, 210, 216 and 215) formed in Sy.No.143 and Sy.No.97, situated at Chikka Nagamangala Village, Sarjapura Hobli, Anekal Taluk, Bengaluru District, without following due process of law; b) Issue Writ of Mandamus directing the Respondent No.1, 2 and 3 to consider the Petitioners' representation letters dated 05.01.2026, 05.01.2026 and 05.01.2026 vide Annexure V,W and X. c) Pass such other order/s as this Hon'ble Court deems fit in the interest of justice and equity; 2. The learned counsel for the petitioners submits that he does not press prayer ‘a’ but he only presses prayer seeking for consideration of the representations submitted by the petitioners. 3. The petitioners submitted representations on 05.01.2026 at Annexures-V, W and X to respondents No.1, 2 and 3 to act in terms of the applicable law and not take any action without serving any notice etc. Such a representation having been submitted, any action to be taken by respondents would have to be so done in accordance with law by providing an opportunity to the persons who would be affected by - 5 - HC-KAR NC: 2026:KHC:34266 WP No. 14609 of 2026 any action of the respondents; an opportunity to place their say on record as also to consider the documents furnished by them. 4. Here the petitioners claimed to be the owners of several plots under registered sale deeds. These documents, forming part of public record, would have to be considered by respondents before passing necessary orders. 5. In that view of the matter, this Court passes the following: ORDER i) The Writ Petition is partly allowed. ii) Respondents are directed to consider the representations of the petitioners dated 05.01.2026 at Annexures – V, W and X and pass necessary orders within 30 days from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. iii) Until then, the respondents are restrained from taking any coercive steps against the petitioners.
