JUSTICE M.I.ARUN ORAL ORDER The petitioner has requested for change of Khata in respect of the property, which is the subject matter of the writ petition, into its name. As the same has not been considered, the present writ petition is filed with the following prayers: "1. Issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the Respondents to consider the representation- Annexure-E dated 02.01.2026 and representation - Annexure-F dated 25.02.2026 of the Petitioner and effect khata in the name of the petitioner education society for Site Nos. 142, 170, 171, 172, 174, 175, - 3 - HC-KAR NC: 2026:KHC:19295 WP No. 9317 of 2026 and 176 in Survey Nos. 25, 46, and 47 of Shettihalli Village, Tumakuru. 2. Direct the Respondents to update the Khata records in the name of the Petitioner Society within a time- bound period. 3. Pass such other orders as this Hon'ble Court deems fit in the interest of justice and equity." 2. The learned counsel appearing for respondent Nos.2 and 3, upon instructions, submits that if the petitioner were to make an online application instead of the physical application presently submitted, the request of the petitioner will be considered in accordance with law and appropriate orders will be passed. Hence, the following: ORDER i. The petitioner is granted liberty to make an online application, along with all the necessary particulars, for change of Khata. - 4 - HC-KAR NC: 2026:KHC:19295 WP No. 9317 of 2026 ii. If such an application were to be made, the request of the petitioner shall be considered in accordance with law and appropriate orders shall be passed by respondent Nos.2 and 3 within a period of eight (08) weeks thereafter. iii.
