This Criminal Petition under Section 482 of Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 (for short, “B.N.S.S.”) is filed seeking to enlarge the petitioners on anticipatory bail in Crime No.120 of 2026 of Tanuku Town Police Station, West Godavari District, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 318(4), 351(2) r/w 3(5) of BNS. 2. Heard learned counsel for the petitioners and learned Assistant Public Prosecutor for respondent/State. 3. Perused the record. 4. Since it is seen that the offences alleged are punishable with seven years or less than seven years, the respondent/State is directed to comply with the mandate in Section 35(3) of the BNSS, 2023 and all the directions given by the Hon’ble Supreme Court of India in the judgment in Arnesh Kumar vs. State of Bihar1 and other related rulings. 5. Accordingly, this Criminal Petition is disposed of.
