JUSTICE SHAILENDRA SINGH ORAL ORDER 2 22-07-2026 Heard the parties. 2. The petitioners apprehend their arrest in connection with Lakhnaur P.S. Case No. 63/ 2025 registered for the offence(s) punishable under Section(s) 85 read with section 3(5) of the BNS and section(s) 3 and 4 of Dowry Prohibition Act. 3. Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the petitioners are in-laws of the informant and there is no specific allegation against them and marriage of the informant took Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.49046 of 2026(2) dt.22-07-2026 2/2 place in the year 2019. 4. Learned APP appearing for the State opposes the prayer of the petitioners. 5. Considering the aforesaid submissions and facts and circumstances of this case coupled with the nature of allegation appearing against the petitioners as well as their role, in my opinion, the petitioners deserve to the relief of anticipatory bail. Accordingly, let the petitioners named-above, in the event of their arrest/surrender before the learned court below within a period of six weeks from today, be released on anticipatory bail in connection with Lakhnaur P.S. Case No. 63/ 2025 on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the Court concerned, subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 482(2) of the BNSS.
