ORAL ORDER
The petitioner is before this Court calling in question the proceedings in C.C.No.79/2024 registered for the offences punishable under Sections 420, 465, 468, 471 read with Section 34 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860 ('the IPC' for short).
2. Heard Sri. Divyathej A.B.,
learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Smt. Rashmi Patel, learned High Court Government Pleader appearing for the respondents.
3. The petitioner would submit that against the order of drawing the petitioner into the array of accused while filing

the charge sheet, the petitioner has preferred an application seeking his discharge before the concerned Court and the said application is pending consideration.
4. In the light of the said application pending
consideration at the hands of the concerned Court seeking his discharge, the duplication of proceedings cannot be entertained more so in the light of the facts obtaining in the case at hand.
5. In that light, the petition stands disposed, reserving liberty to the petitioner to knock at the doors of this Court in the event the application seeking discharge would run against him.
Ordered accordingly.
