Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is in custody for about 1 year 1 month. Till date only charges have been made and witness action has not commenced. Learned advocate for the State opposes the prayer for bail and draws the attention of the Court to the statement of the children of the deceased. Primarily, I find that the petitioner is involved in the alleged offence and there was design attached, according to the prosecution case. Considering the same, at this stage, I am not inclined to release the petitioner on bail. Petitioner will renew his prayer for bail after the evidence of the vulnerable witnesses are over. Learned trial court would expedite the process of examination of vulnerable witnesses. 2 At this stage, CRM(M)1143 of 2026 is dismissed.
