02 /01.04.2026: Heard the learned counsel representing the petitioner and the learned counsel representing the respondents.
2. The petitioner in this writ petition has prayed for the following reliefs: a. For issuance of an appropriate writ/order/direction in the nature of mandamus, commanding the Respondent Authorities to immediately and forthwith insert/update and thereafter reflect the name of the petitioner in the land records/Register-II in the online portal in respect of the land situated at Mouza - Madhuban, Plot No. 359, Khata No. 22, with total area of 34 decimal under petitioners name and as the petitioner's name has already been entered in the offline Register-II and rent receipt was also issued in her favour after correction. b. For direction upon the respondent to perform their statutory duties as the petitioner has already applied through online process for inserting her name in online register II and for the same acknowledgement slip was also issued but till date the

respondent authority is sitting tight over the matter and not discharging their statutory duty. c. For holding and declaring that the action of the respondents in not updating the petitioner's name in the online records despite existing entries in offline records is illegal, arbitrary and against the law. And/Or Pass such order(s) as this Hon'ble Court may deem fit and roper in the interest of justice.
3. It is the grievance of the petitioner that her name is not reflected in the online land records i.e. Register-II though she has approached the respondents.

Learned counsel for the respondents submits that a decision has to be taken by the Circle Officer, Simdega. Thus, the petitioner should file a fresh representation before the respondent no. 6-the Circle Officer, Simdega along with all the documents which are in her favour to show her right, title, interest and possession over the land in question.

Considering the submission of the parties, I direct the petitioner to file a fresh representation within a period of four weeks along with the copy of this order before the respondent no. 6-the Circle Officer, Simdega who will consider the case of the petitioner and take a decision and pass a reasoned order within eight weeks thereafter. If the petitioner is entitled for the relief as claimed for, appropriate action should be taken within a period of two weeks thereafter.
6. With the aforesaid observation and direction, this writ petition is disposed of.
