For the State Pursuant to a work order issued by the Block Development Officer, Karimpur-II Development Block on 22nd June, 2023 for providing infrastructural facilities at different DC, RC, Counting venue at Mahisbathan Monoj Vidyamandir, the petitioner completed the said work satisfactorily and completion certificate was issued in his favour on 29th February, 2024. Total value of the work is Rs.13,33,658/- which still remains unpaid. It is recorded in the completion certificate that the payment cannot be made due to unavailability of fund. The petitioner seeks disbursal of the dues. Since the work was completed on 8th July, 2023 and completion certificate issued recording satisfactory completion of the work, the Block Development Officer, Karimpur-II being the 3rd respondent herein, is directed to disburse the due amount of Rs.13,33,658/- to the petitioner within 8 weeks from the date of communication of this order subject to the petitioner complying with requisite formalities. 2 The writ petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs. Since no affidavit has been invited, allegations contained in the writ petition shall be deemed not to have been admitted.
