Leave is granted to the petitioner to amend the cause title. Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that petitioner was arrested on 24.02.2026 and charge sheet has already been submitted before the jurisdictional Court. The reason for death in the present case is by consuming poison. Learned advocate for the State opposes the prayer for bail and submits that the deceased was compelled to end her life after one and half years of marriage. I have taken into account the subject matter of the case and the fact that charge sheet has been submitted. Petitioner 2 was in custody for more than 4 months during the course of the proceedings. As prosecution has relied upon 17 witnesses which will take substantial time, I am of the opinion that further detention of the present petitioner is unwarranted. As such prayer for bail of the petitioner is allowed. Accordingly, Petitioner, namely, Dilip Pal shall furnish bond of Rs. 20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand Only) with two sureties of Rs. 10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand Only) each, one of whom must be local to the satisfaction of Learned ACJM, Kakdwip. If on bail, the petitioner shall be physically present on each and every date fixed before the learned Trial Court and shall not leave the jurisdiction of District of 24 Parganas South without the prior permission of the learned Special Court. Accordingly, CRM (NDPS) 1434 of 2026 is allowed. All parties shall act in terms of server copy of the order downloaded from the official website of this Court.
