JUSTICE S.G.PANDIT) The petitioner - Panchayath Development Officer working at Biligere Grama Panchayath, Tiptur Taluk, Tumkur District is before this Court being aggrieved by non grant of interim order by order dated 29.06.2026 in Application No.2975/2026 passed by the Karnataka State Administrative Tribunal, Bengaluru is before this Court in this writ petition. 2. Heard Sri.Maruthi S, learned counsel for the petitioner and Sri.V Shivareddy, learned AGA for the respondents. 3. Perused the entire writ petition papers. 4. It is seen from the writ petition papers that the petitioner has completed his tenure as Panchayath Development Officer at Biligere Grama Panchayath, Tiptur Taluk, Tumkur District. The petitioner is called for counseling transfer in terms of notification dated 15.05.2026. On the plea that he is deputed to census work, since census workers are not to be transferred till March 2027, learned counsel seeks - 4 - HC-KAR NC: 2026:KHC:33678-DB WP No. 20253 of 2026 exemption from the transfer. The said contention is to be considered by the Tribunal at the stage of disposal. 5. The respondent - State has to make its stand clear as to whether the census workers are to be transferred or not. 6. We do not find any error in the order passed by the Tribunal.
