Allegedly on the given date and time of occurrence, Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.48389 of 2026(2) dt.22-07-2026 2/3 while the informant was engaged in feeding her cattle, in the meanwhile, sixteen named accused persons, including the petitioners, variously armed with lathi, danda and khanti came there and started abusing and assaulting the informant. It is specifically alleged that petitioner no. 5 assaulted the informant over his head by means of khanti, due to which she sustained serious injuries. There is further allegation against the petitioner no. 3 of snatching the valuables, besides omnibus allegation against others. 4. Learned Advocate for the petitioners submitted that there is a counter version of the present case, being Halsi P.S. Case no. 143 of 2025 instituted against the informant and her mother. The parties are none else but the gotiyas. However, on account of some trifle, they entered into a free fight, resulting into the institution of the case and counter case.
