CORAM : HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE RONGON MUKHOPADHYAY

For the State : A.P.P.

02/30.03.2026 Heard Mr. Manoj Kumar No. 2, learned counsel for the petitioner and learned A.P.P. for the State.
The petitioner is an accused in S.T. No. 441/2025, arising out of Chainpur P.S. Case No. 116/2025, corresponding to G.R. Case No. 2265/2025.
It has been alleged that the wife of the informant was suspected to have been murdered by the petitioner.
It appears from the First Information Report that the deceased was constantly talking on phone with the petitioner. It has further been stated that the petitioner had taken the informant towards the jungle and after pointing out the dead body had fled away. Such averment appears to be totally absurd as if at all the petitioner was involved in the offence there was no occasion for the petitioner to have pointed out the dead body to the informant thus arousing suspicion. The petitioner is in custody since 31.08.2025.
Regard being had to the above, the petitioner, named above, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand only) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of learned Additional Sessions Judge-IX, Palamau at Daltonganj in S.T. No. 441/2025, arising out of Chainpur P.S. Case No. 116/2025, corresponding to G.R. Case No. 2265/2025.
